|In October 1946 LeRoy Haynes and his wife, Jeanne, used their life-savings to purchase Reynolds Estate in La Verne, CA. There they opened the doors of LeRoy’s Boys’ Home to 10 residents. 60 years later, “uncle LeRoy’s” legacy evolved to encompass 18 buildings and a state certified K-12 school. Annually they serve 450 boys and girls of all ages.|
|Outdoor Elegance Patio Design Center is proud to announce a fund raising partnership with the Five Acres. Five Acres has been a haven for abused, neglected and at-risk children since 1888. Serving more than 4,000 children and their family members every year, programs include residential care and education, mental health services in homes and schools, foster care and adoptions, and domestic violence prevention.|
